Abstract
瓷器紋飾圖案柳園圖在19世紀的英國曾風靡一時，由該圖案衍生出的愛情悲劇敘述在1920年代被高蒙電影（Gaumont）與駐華英美煙公司搬上銀幕,製作成電影《柳碟緣》。從印於瓷器的異域圖示到運動影像演繹的東方奇觀，柳園圖自身承載著怎樣的文化想像？這種想像又是如何在不同媒介中被呈現並延續的？本文聚焦于《柳碟緣》與柳園紋樣圖案的內在文化聯繫，通過考察柳園圖自身含義的生成，影響及在這次跨媒介旅程中的延續，為電影《柳碟緣》在英國的本土記憶及其折射出的 “東方” 生產過程做一解釋說明。
