Verification of a Jumping-Genes Evolutionary Paradigm on the Basis on Schema Theorem
Project: Research

Description
Although the main features of the jumping-genes (JG) paradigm for evolutionary computing and its practical application such as in antenna designs, wireless communication networks, and digital filter designs have been successfully reported, the establishment of fundamental theory that governs the JG is still urgently required. The aim of this project is therefore to apply some rigorous mathematical formulations to prove the JG paradigm and to provide essential scientific evidence to justify the influential status of JG as one of the key features for evolutionary computing. The project will study the over ramming of the JG algorithm so that both rate of convergence and diversity can be appropriately addressed.Detail(s)
