The Assessment of Student Learning in Co-curriculum Activities

In preparation for the 4-year curriculum and the aims to enhance student learning, the University has allocated considerable resources to develop 'ideal graduates' at CityU. In addition to the re-structuring of the formal curriculum, co-curriculum activities are carried out at the university, faculty and departmental level. Examples include the student exchange programmes, field trips, mentoring schemes and other learning opportunities for students.This project aims to assess the effectiveness of these co-curricula activities in terms of enhancing student learning. A mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods will be employed to gather relevant data for analysis.
