Students' AI Partner: Creating a Large Language Model-Based Platform for Marketing Education

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a Large Language Model (LLM)-based platform customized for marketing education. Powered by advanced AI technologies, particularly LLM, such as GPT-based language models, this platform will serve as an AI partner for students, functioning both as an AI Coach and an AI Classmate. As an AI Coach, the platform will provide personalized feedback and guidance and suggest improvements, helping students stay on track and achieve learning objectives. As an AI Classmate, it will facilitate collaboration and idea exchange, enabling students to engage with both the AI and their peers in real-time, promoting active participation, creativity, and deeper learning. The platform will be tailored specifically to marketing education, integrating an AI-driven knowledge repository and interactive systems that help students simulate real-world business tasks. For instance, in one classroom project, students will develop and launch a smart ring. They will need to design the product, analyze the target market, set a budget, devise marketing strategies, and create promotional content. The platform will guide students through each phase of the project, offering insights, suggestions, and feedback. It will also facilitate peer collaboration by enabling students to share ideas and feedback, fostering innovation and teamwork. This hands-on approach bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, encouraging active engagement and critical thinking. The development of the platform will be carried out in several phases. Initially, the focus will be on building the core AI infrastructure, which includes integrating OpenAI’s GPT large language models and Deepseek’s R1 reasoning model. These models will enable the platform to process complex data and generate meaningful insights for students. The next phase will involve building the knowledge repository, which will contain marketing-related content, case studies, and interactive tools. The final phase will focus on creating a user-friendly interface that allows both students and instructors to easily access and interact with the platform. Throughout the development process, feedback from pilot tests will be incorporated to ensure the platform meets the needs of both educators and students. The platform’s architecture will support various document types, such as text, audio, video, images, and links, allowing students to upload and download a wide range of materials. By leveraging cutting-edge AI models, the platform will offer real-time assistance, helping students refine their projects and improve their marketing strategies. This integration of AI will not only support individual student growth but also encourage collaboration, making the learning experience more interactive and dynamic.By the end of the project, the platform will be fully operational, offering a seamless, interactive environment where both professors and students can engage with the AI. The expected outcomes include increased student engagement, enhanced creativity, improved problem-solving skills, and better overall learning outcomes. This project aims to revolutionize marketing education by providing a dynamic and personalized learning experience that adapts to the needs of each student. Furthermore, it will contribute to the broader field of AI-assisted education, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital, AI-driven workforce.
