Reliability Analysis, Optimal Design and Maintenance Model of Multi-State Repairable Systems
DescriptionIn this research we will carry out some preliminary study of system reliability for multi-state repairable systems. In this proposal, two major research problems are identified. The first problem deals with reliability evaluation of dynamic multi-state systems. Markov processes will be combined with common reliability evaluation approaches to develop a dynamic multi-state reliability analysis model. The second problem deals with reliability evaluation of multi-state network systems. For network systems, reliability is evaluated for more complex structures, which consist of different sets of components. We may consider the issues with importance measures in multistate systems which depend on time and system configurations. We will also carry out literature search and review of some of the problems discussed in our GRF proposal.
