Key Technologies and Systems of Distributed Knowledge Graph Data Management

Artificial Intelligence is the key area for the industrial innovation for Hong Kong SAR, as well as the strategic R&D direction of China. Knowledge graph represents knowledge in a structuralized manner, and thus is the core for knowledge reasoning. The effective and efficient use of the knowledge graph big data is the key to enhance the prediction accuracy and model interpretability of machine learning algorithms. This brought new challenge in the data management of knowledge graph big data. This project aims to combine the strengths of the Hong Kong team and Mainland team in precision medicine and knowledge graph database management systems, respectively, and develop knowledge graph-based deep learning algorithm for predicting the risk of readmission and the risk of acquiring new chronic diseases for individual elderly patients.
