Integrating Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Practical Training in SEE Undergraduate Curriculum

Familiarity and access to cutting-edge tools like Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software are necessary to inculcate innovation and promote entrepreneurial spirit in future engineers, which is at the heart of the Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC) initiative. The goal of this project is to integrate practical LCA training throughout the 4 years of coursework to provide hands-on experience for the students. Facilitated structured workshops with SEE faculty will be conducted to interweave LCA in different courses through relevant assignments and projects in order to produce LCA-literate engineers.
