    Project Details

    Description

Virtual reality (VR) is a versatile technology and has been increasingly adopted in education. Immersive VR system is regarded to be a new type of experience-based learning tool and has been proved to be effective in enhancing students’ learning quality. Recognizing the inefficiency and constraints of lecture-based teaching and on-site teaching, this project aims to develop an immersive VR system to educate undergraduates from a housing management programme on the topic of building technology. An experiment is also designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the immersive VR system in teaching undergraduate course on building technology.
