Description
a. To develop the fast, large scale and controllable synthesis technique for the general 2D transition metal dichalcogenides, using our in-house developed Vapor-Liquid-Adatom-Solid chemical vapor deposition method;b. To achieve high control on the product morphology and the nucleation process with VLAS method, especially for the anisotropic, polymorphic and semi-metallic; andc. To achieve large scale VLAS CVD synthesis of monolayer full films as well as bilayers with targeted stacking order and target phases for the TMDCs above.
