Facilitating the Adoption of an Outcomes-based Approach in Co-curriculum Programmes/Activities

Description

This project examines how co-curriculum programmes/activities in CityU may be implemented more systematically and effectively so as to enhance student learning and development. Specifically, the project will investigate the practicability of introducing some guidelines to facilitate staff members to adopt an outcomes-based approach in planning/designing co-curriculum activities, facilitating/promoting student learning over the duration of the activities, and assessing student learning outcomes thereafter.The project also aims to investigate if a customised self-reflection form, designed upon outcomes-based principles, could be used effectively to enable students to take charge of and maximize their own learning in co-curriculum activities.
