Energy Storage and Thermal Management in Integrated Flexible Systems

Integrated flexible systems, including flexible electronic devices, flexible energy storages, flexible thermal managements, and flexible energy conversions, are the cores of the next-generation wearable devices.  In this project, I and my group members plan to solve the most urgent demands of flexible energy storages and flexible thermal managements in the first 3 years, then involve the research directions of flexible electronic devices and flexible energy conversions in the next 4-6 years, and finally integrate all these aspects together for a successful integrated flexible system.  This research direction is highly in the line with the research focus of the department and college on Material, Energy, and Health, as well as the close collaborations with industry partners.
