Description
An online academic integrity tutorial is proposed to help students understand the meaning and importance of academic integrity. Students must realize that academic integrity goes beyond studying and getting the grades, it is proper conduct for their personal development and also their future profession and career. The tutorial is designed to teach students about plagiarism, intellectual property, fabricating data and breaching rules specified for the conduct of examinations. The assessment criteria will be based on pre-quiz and a final quiz. The pre-quiz is meant to be a non-graded assessment for what students already know prior to entering the tutorial. The final quiz is meant to be graded and will assess what students have learned from the tutorial. The tutorial will be offered online, allowing students to learn at their own pace, during their own free time, and also wherever they wish to. Students will also be able to gain a common foundation of knowledge before they start attending their regular courses.Detail(s)
