Project Details
Description
Nowadays, with the development of 5G wireless communication, the existing 5G antennas suffer from high energy consumption and high cost in industries. This project realizes the co-design of 4G and 5G base station antennas with miniaturized, low-energyconsumptioncharacteristics. The methodology of the project includes co-design technique of filter and antenna, the integration of multiple subsystems, and injection modeling technology for antenna element realization. These make the proposed antenna compact, low-energy-consumption, and low-cost, which provide a novel solution for compact and environment-friendly base station construction. This project is helpful toimprove the international competitiveness of industries in Guangdong and Hong Kong on base station antenna development.
