Project Details
Description
Cloud computing is gaining increasing popularity today. On one hand, it has been consistently envisioned as the new generation of IT sector as a whole. On the other hand, many security and privacy issues remain unsolved and considered as challenging obstacles. Therefore, in order to help cultivate the new generation of information security professionals, it becomes imperative to deliver knowledge on both widely applicable cloud computing models as well as deep understanding of its unique security threats and countermeasures. In light of this trend, this project aims at developing a new course on the principals of cloud computing and security which targets senior undergraduates within and outside the CS department.
