Controllability and Observability of Temporally Switching Directed Networks

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This proposal aims to study the controllability and observability of temporally switchingdirected complex networks with linear node dynamics. Both notions of statecontrollability and observability, as well as structural controllability and observability, will be studied. The main objective is to derive some precise and easily-verified algebraicas well as graph-theoretic controllability and observability conditions for such practicalnetworks. To that end, some potential real applications of the temporally switchingnetwork controllability and observability will also be explored.?
