Description
The optimization of sperm without invading and damaging sperm is a gap that needs to be filled clinically urgently. To this end, we built an automated, high-throughput, noninvasive single sperm biochemical sorting system based on microfluidic chips. The system can quickly prepare a large number of single sperm microdroplets, so that the microdroplets with strong metabolic ability and vigorous life activity form hydrogels, and then realize fully automatic and high-throughput sperm screening and separation due to gravity and hydrophobicity. The innovative system selects >90% of the live sperm from motile sperm, significantly increasing the fertilization rate from 15% to 70%, greatlyimproving patient outcomes.
