Description

This project is designed to produce an e-learning tool which provides academic staff with an electronic menu of constructively aligned intended learning outcomes/action verbs, teaching and learning activities (TLA's), and assessment tasks (AT's). The e-learning tool will be incorporated into the City University of Hong Kong Blackboard system and will allow academic staff to enter an action verb, learning activity or assessment task and then receive a menu of suggestions of constructively aligned components. For example, if an action verb is selected from the drop down menu, the teacher will receive a list of suggested TLA's and assessment tasks which are aligned with that verb. Likewise, if a TLA or assessment task is selected from similar drop down menus, a list of possible action verbs will be provided.
