Advanced Pattern Recognition Techniques and their Applications

Description

This project aims to develop advanced pattern recognition techniques to solve several practical image processing and data classification problems. Both supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms will be studied as well as their applications to audio, image and video processing; along with biological, medical and financial data analysis. In addition to investigation of robust computer algorithms, some of the methods in hardware will also be implemented along with the exploration of industrial and commercial applications of the research results.
