A Comprehensive Collection and Examination of English Translations of Classical Chinese Literary Theory

Description

This project aims for a comprehensive collection of existing English translations of Chinese theoretical texts concerned with poetry, drama, fiction and other genres. The project will try to compare different English translations of the same text in that it can disclose how Chinese literary theory was understood and interpreted from different perspectives and how Chinese concepts and terms was rendered as different English expressions.
