Data are now accumulating exponentially in the Internet era, which requires huge storage space to save data. Flash memory is now the mainstream storage device to store the huge data. In this project, we will do research on improving the performance of the Flash-based storage system from different aspects. On the one hand, we will analyze and model Flash memory characteristics under different ambient environments. On the other hand, we will also pay attention to ensure the reliability and endurance of the flash memory, which is the core component for data storage.
