The Prize is regarded as the highest award in the broad field of Engineering Science and Technology in China. The award is highly competitive. This year, a total of 39 scientists from all over the country including Hong Kong and Macau are awarded. They were chosen from among 340 eligible candidates following stringent nomination, screening and review procedures.
