This was an award attained at the Second International Conference on Gender & Sexuality Studies 2019. I was selected as the best presenter in session of violence against women. The presentation was about the socioeconomic and cultural factors that hinder women from escaping intimate partner violence. It focused on 30 women convicted of murder in Uganda.
