Professor YANG Tong, Chair Professor of the Department of Mathematics at City University of Hong Kong, has been elected as the member of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences for his fundamental contributions to partial differential equations and mathematical physics especially on hyperbolic conservation laws and on kinetic systems.
