Description
Title of work: May Fourth in Hong Kong—The Context, Nationalism and Local Consciousness, which is the latest work of Chan Hok-yin - First launched in 2007, the Hong Kong Book Prize is jointly organized by Radio Television Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Publishing Federation; it is supported by Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Now in its eighth year, the event attracted the nominations of 436 eligible titles. Fifteen adjudicators selected 25 of these for the final round of evaluation and public voting. The panel’s assessment represents 80 per cent of the final score and public voting takes up 20 per cent.
