Professor Sun Dong, Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), has been elected Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) for his outstanding achievements in robotics and biomedical engineering.

The Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) is an independent, self-governing and non-profit organization established in 1987. Fellows of the Academy are nominated and elected by their peers, in view of their distinguished achievements and career-long service to the engineering profession. Election to the CAE is one of the highest professional honours accorded an engineer.
