Biography

Dr. Zhenbin Wang earned his Ph.D. in NanoEngineering from the University of California, San Diego, in 2018, where he received the Chancellor's Dissertation Medal. He then joined the Technical University of Denmark as a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Jens K. Nørskov before taking up his current position at CityU. Dr. Wang’s research harnesses density functional theory, high-throughput computation, and artificial intelligence to accelerate the design and discovery of materials for pressing global challenges in clean energy and environmental sustainability. His current interests focus on electrocatalysis and AI-driven materials design.
