Biography

Prof. Zhenyu Shi is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry of City University of Hong Kong through the GRAP Scheme. He obtained his B.E. and M.E. degrees from Zhejiang University (China) and completed his Ph.D. at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). Afterward, he continued his postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry of CityUHK. His research interests focus on the controlled design and synthesis of 2D hybrid nanomaterials for catalysis, electronics, energy conversion and storage. He has published 19 papers in highly-esteemed journals such as Nature, Nat. Mater., Chem. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Acc. Chem. Res., Chem, Natl. Sci. Rev. etc.
