FANG Yueyao (方粵姚)

Miss Fang doing her PhD research at the department of social and behavioral sciences in City University of Hong Kong. She is working on sociology of gender and sexuality.She has a background in arts, cultural and sociology, obtaining her postgraduate degree in London, UK.

Hoping to contribute more to promote social quality, I’m interested in sociology of gender and sexuality regarding the plight faced by minority groups and seeking potential way out. By diving into how social and cultural norms may construct identities, I would like to focus more on the challenges and rights faced by minority groups through sociological research.
