Biography

Doris is currently pursuing her PhD degree at the City University of Hong Kong. She received her Master of Social Work from University of Toronto. After her graduation from U of T, she had taught social work at Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) for ten years. Prior to joining CIHE, she had worked in various community and women service settings. Doris has actively participated in women organizations and strived for gender equality in Hong Kong. Her research interests include violence against women, child care support, gender mainstreaming, gender responsive budget, empowerment for underprivileged women and community organizing.
