Biography
Yizhuo Gao is a Ph.D. Candidate at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and City University of Hong Kong. He has a keen interest in Modern Chinese Architecture in Mao’s China and Cold War architecture, with particular attention to cases related to the Third Front Construction (sanxian jianshe) and foreign aid architecture.
