Biography
Xinyue Claire Deng is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, specializing in feminist film studies with a specific focus on Chinese women's cinema and cultural studies.
Deng holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Broadcasting and Television Journalism, as well as Digital Production Video. She furthered her academic pursuits by earning a Master's degree in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis. In her academic journey, Deng's works have been recognized through the receipt of multiple scholarships, grants, and awards in the fields of art and film.
