Biography
Wenjie Liu is an Assistant Professor of Management at City University of Hong Kong. He uses quantitative research methods to study topics related to nonmarket strategy, global strategy, sustainability, and organization theory. His research primarily evaluates the strategies through which firms build relationships with different nonmarket stakeholders (nongovernmental organizations, governments, local communities) to tackle pressing environmental and social issues in emerging markets. His research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of Management. Wenjie received his Ph.D. from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He has held a visiting appointment at Columbia Business School.
