Biography

Dr. Wesley Curtis ( 孔文旭博士 ) is Head of the Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre at City University of Hong Kong. Since June 2024, he has also served as President of the Association of Hong Kong Language Centres. From 2016 to 2021, he was the Director of English Programs for Internationals of the University of South Carolina and PI/Executive Director of the Institute on Civic Engagement of the Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders from Europe, a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. A former Vice President of the US-based Consortium of University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP), he is an experienced administrator and educator with interests in second language acquisition, instructional technology, and international education.
