Dr. ALABI Stephen Adeyemi

Dr. ALABI Stephen Adeyemi received both Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree with first class honours and MEng with Distinction in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, respectively and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). degree in Structural Health Monitoring of Railway Track System from the City University of Hong Kong. He is a registered engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering Practices in Nigeria (COREN) and currently a Corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE).

• Successfully designed and implemented a Three Storey NDDC Building Hostel at Abia State University Uturu, Nigeria.
• Introduced a contract bidding strategy that won the area office 5 EPC contracts within 6months on highly competitive grounds.
• Championed the project management of several procurement contracts for Bussdor, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• As business development engineer, increased clientele by 60% between June 2009 and January 2010 via technical marketing of company expertise and organisational lobbying.
• Was responsible for the Quality control of constructional materials such as Reinforcement bar, concrete etc.

• Preparation of bill of Engineering measurements and Evaluation (BEME) and part of supervision team of 600 m long Bridge at Lasu-iyana iba Lagos State
• Assisted in design, construction and supervision of drainage system
• Delegated to provide support services to the operations, design and administrative departments.
• Assisted in the design and documentation of several tank farm projects which sped up design deliverable by 30%.
• Demonstrated high versatility and technical competency in assigned tasks. This got me transferred through the four key departments in the organization and was send-off as the best intern at the end of my programme.
