Biography
Professor LAI Sin Chit Martin is an Associate Professor at the City University of Hong Kong School of Law. He specializes in competition law and law and economics, with a particular interest in enforcement-related issues. His research has appeared in journals including the Journal of Competition Law and Economics, the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law, and the Berkeley Business Law Journal.
Martin received his B.Econ. & Finance and M.Econ. from the University of Hong Kong, a Juris Master from Tsinghua University, and an LL.M. and S.J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He also received training in European Union competition law at the University of Munich. His doctoral dissertation committee consisted of Professors Jonathan Klick (Chair), Herbert Hovenkamp, and Christopher S. Yoo.
Martin is a member of the New York State Bar.
