Dr Shubo Wang is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong. He is interested in general wave physics including angular momentum, ​singular optics, non-Hermitian optics, metamaterials, ​photonic crystals, and optical forces. He has published 50 papers in peer reviewed journals including Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS, Physical Review Letters, and Physical Review X, among which some are selected as "Editors' Suggestion", highlighted in Nature Photonics, and received media coverage by EurekAlertPhys.orgScience Daily, CityU News, etc. He serves as a reviewer for many journals including Nature, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Physical Review Letters, etc. He has delivered 20 invited/keynote talks at international conferences such as META, PIERS, and CLEO. He received William Mong Outstanding Paper Award (2012) and Faculty Service Award (2020).
