Prof. ZHU Pingan (朱平安)
- Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Biography
Dr. Pingan Zhu received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2017 and Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2013. Dr. Zhu is currently an Assistant Professor and leads the Non-Equilibrium Science & Technology (NEST) Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. The NEST Lab will focus on the study of systems and phenomena out of equilibrium, especially those in the field of interfacial fluid mechanics. NEST is keen on exploring fundamental sciences, answering burning questions, as well as developing advanced technologies to address key issues in interdisciplinary fields.
