Dr. HONG Ning (洪宁)

Ning Hong is now a Ph.D. student in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at City University of Hong Kong (CityU). He received a B.S. degree in Automation Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2016. His research interests focus on the development of analytical methods for the design, management, operation of transportation systems, focusing on air transport and rail traffic. His current projects include air traffic trajectories prediction, air fleet fuel consumption analysis, and health monitoring of high-speed train components, etc. His work has an emphasis on the use of large-scale data generated from the actual operations of transport systems, applying methods and technologies of artificial intelligence and data mining.
