Biography
Dr. Nan LI received her bachelor's degree from Jilin University and her doctorate degree from Tsinghua University. Throughout the course of her Ph.D. studies, she underwent joint training at the University of Washington. Following that, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to her current position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, she served as a Research Assistant Professor. Dr. Nan LI's primary research interests lie in the preparation and characterization of organic/inorganic nano-optoelectronics and energy storage devices. Her research encompasses various areas such as novel solar cells, light-emitting diodes, zinc batteries, and solid polymer electrolytes. She focuses on utilizing colloidal quantum dots, metal halide perovskites, organic molecules, and polymers to develop clean energy technologies, energy conversion systems, energy storage solutions, and lighting technologies.

Novel nanostructured semiconductors, such as colloidal quantum dots, metal halide perovskites, and organic materials.
Organic/inorganic optoelectronic devices including solar cells, light-emitting diodes, and flexible electronics.
Electrolytes for solid-state batteries.
