Prof. WANG Mingzhu (王明珠)

Dr. Mingzhu Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2019. After her PhD study, she worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation (CSEI) at Imperial College London. Dr. Wang joined Loughborough University as a Lecturer in Construction Management at the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering in 2021 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2024. Her research focus on smart construction, intelligent building and infrastructure inspection and management, construction safety, computer vision and machine learning, Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital twin, and construction robotics. Dr. Wang has authored and co-authored several publications in high-ranked journals and conference proceedings. In addition, her research has obtained support from various funders, such as InnovateUK, UNESCO, Skanksa and the Oval Partnership. 

王明珠博士现为香港城市大学建筑及土木工程学系助理教授。她2019年于香港科技大学取得博士学位，随后于帝国理工学院系统工程与创新中心担任博士后。2020年开始在拉夫堡大学建筑与土木工程学院担任讲师（助理教授），于2024年晋升为高级讲师（副教授）。王博士的研究方向包括智能建造、楼宇与基础设施健康检测与维护管理、建筑安全管理、计算机视觉与机器学习、建筑信息建模与数字孪生、施工自动化与机器人等。王博士的研究成果发表于多本国际期刊与会议。她曾获得英国创新局、联合国教科文组织、英国SKANSKA公司，英国Oval Partnership公司的多项研究资助。
