RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
- Invented automated processes of using robotics combined with micro-engineering tools including optical tweezers, micro-needles and electromagnetic devices, as the special end-effectors to accomplish various tasks of cell manipulation, diagnosis and micro-surgery at the single cell level.
- Designed, created and applied robot control technologies, particularly the synchronization control for multirobot systems, with extensive applications to advanced manufacturing and micro-processing automation.
- Conducted extensive applied researches in advanced robotics and motion controls with impactful contributions to industry, including technology transfers and high-tech startup in the Hong Kong Science Park.
