Biography
Betty Yung completed her PhD at the University of Bristol. Her PhD research is interdisciplinary in nature, integrating Philosophy, Public Policy and Housing Studies to examine “justice in Hong Kong housing policy”. She worked at different universities in Hong Kong, including the University of Hong Kong, the Education University of Hong Kong, the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong (SPEED). Besides, working in the academia, she worked as a Senior Researcher at the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR government, thus enabling her to have a practical dimension of ‘politics and public policy at work’ in her research and teaching.
