Biography
Jiayu SHANG is a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Sun Yat-sen University (Guangdong, China). His research field is bioinformatics and computational biology.
Currently, He is a PostDoc at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His recent research projects include applying deep learning models in biological sequence analysis, next-generation sequencing data analysis, metagenomics, and protein domain annotation.
