Dr. Yan Jun obtained his doctoral degree from the School of Mathematics at Peking University. He used to be research assistant of Harvard Medical School, senior research manager of Microsoft Research Asia, executive director, CTO and chief AI scientist of Yidu Tech (02158.HK). His research interests include knowledge mining in artificial intelligence, knowledge-based machine learning, text processing techniques, information retrieval etc. with a particular focus on artificial intelligence research in the field of healthcare. So far, he has obtained dozens of domestic and international technology patents, published more than 100 high-quality academic papers. He has been doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat sen University, Master of Engineering Supervisor at Renmin University, one of the early initiators of the OPENKG organization, and observer of the AI Medical Device Standardization Technology Expert Group of the National Medical Products Administration. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Medical Health and Bioinformatics Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Information Society. Chief Scientist of the Medical Big Data Research Institute at Chongqing Medical University, Visiting Researcher at the Intelligent Industry Research Institute at Tsinghua University, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor at the School of Nursing at Peking University.
