Biography
Dr. Kim received the BS and MS degrees from Seoul National University. He also received the MS and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. Before joining City University of Hong Kong in 2018, he worked for the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) at Stanford University as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. His research focus is on the implementation of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to develop and manage sustainable and smart infrastructure and energy systems in an integrated manner.
