Biography
Jizhou Li is currently an Assistant Professor at School of Data Science, City University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. With the background in mathematics and engineering, Prof. Li has strong research interests in developing novel methods for a broad range of imaging techniques, including X-ray/optical microscopy, to accelerate interdisciplinary research and discovery in natural science.
Prof. Li has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals/conferences, such as Science, Nature Energy, Nature Review Physics, Nature Communications, PNAS, Advanced Energy Materials, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, IEEE/CVF International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), etc. His research works have been featured as Cover Articles and ESI Highly Cited paper, and highlighted by the U.S. DOE Office of Science, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Editors and several media. Prof. Li was the recipient of a few awards from IEEE and SIAM, including two best paper awards from IEEE Signal Processing Society and Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, and CVPR Best Paper Award Finalist from IEEE Computer Society.
Prof. Li has served as a reviewer for over 25 top journals/conferences, such as Nature Methods, Nature Communications, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, Optica, Optics Letters, Cell Press Patterns, etc. He is an Affiliate Member of Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee, IEEE Signal Processing Society.
