Prof. WU has obtained her Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Prof. Marta C. Gonzalez. And she hold a Master degree and a Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University and Wuhan University respectively. Her research focuses on data-driven modelling and optimization of energy and transportation systems with publications in leading journals such as Applied Energy, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, and Cell Reports Sustainability. Her work has also been featured at top-tier conferences such as ACM e-Energy, ACM SIGSPATIAL and IEEE SmartGridComm.
Prior to joining us, Prof. Wu actively engaged in the academic activities and served as a Graduate Student Instructor at Berkeley, and as a journal and conference peer review for IEEE publications. She was honoured with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award at Tsinghua University also.
