Biography

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), where I also completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science in June 2023. Prior to my doctoral studies at CityU, I earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology in 2013 and a Master of Science in High Reliability Embedded Systems in 2017, both from Capital Normal University.

Research Interests/Areas

My research focuses on the storage systems aspects of machine learning. Despite its significant adoption in recent years, designing and implementing storage systems that support real-world deployments remains a major bottleneck. This presents an opportunity for research at the intersection of storage system and machine learning. My study investigates how to re-architect system and application software from the ground-up to take advantage of non-volatile memory, in-storage computing, and other memory and storage technologies to support model training and execution in machine learning.
