I'm a veterinarian researcher with passion for solving one of the biggest challenge the aquaculture industry faces: diseases outbreaks. My strongest R&D focus on early identification of disease within aquaculture farms using environmental DNA (eDNA) techniques and water quality monitoring (environmental sensing) associated with microbiome investigation. I have a particular interest in adopting IoT, AI, and molecular techniques as an innovative way to prevent and predict disease risk. My goal is look back in time and be able to see that I contributed for a sustainable aquaculture industry and help to solve our global food security issues.
