Floriane Chang is a Ph.D. Candidate in Law at the City University of Hong Kong, supervised by Professor Julien Chaisse. Her research focuses on the interseciton of Art Law and International Economic Law, with particular attention to issues around cultural property and cross-border investment. She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from University of Paris II and completed an LL.M at King’s College London. Her previous research examined environmental and political factors affecting foreign direct investment in China and Taiwan. She has also gained experience at major law firms and international organisations. As President of the Joint Association in Chinese Business Law and the European-Asian Institute of Research, she led regular dialogue between European and Asian institutions. Floriane received the Best Position Position Paper at the Macau Model European Union 2024. She was awarded the Wang Chonghui Prize at the 2025 International Law Association (ILA) - American Society of International Law (ASIL) Asia-Pacific Research Forum. Her work has appeared in leading journals, including Contemporary Asia Arbitration Journal (CAAJ) and the Journal of World Investment & Trade (JWIT).
